Ok, for the record, I created this account after seeing the sheer number of CATT’ers which had their own accounts here. I have been using my Advogato account up until now, but given that I post far too much stuff there that isn’t related to free software, I might as well migrate things over to some other place… like this.
After all, IMHO most of the free software devel and communication I do is either based on the linux-kernel list or various irc channels, so web-based diaries, while it could be useful to some, isn’t really that good for me. After all, all the machines I ever care about a patch working on are available in the benchmarking lab I work in, and everything else will get tested by davem and various alpha people fairly quickly. Once the quad Merced’s get a little more stable I’ll use them as my proof machines for 64-bit cleanliness.
So here’s the first journal entry… I’ll have to turn around and make a few more since it’s been 10 days since I updated my Advogato diary, so this’ll be one largely useless day.
