Anyone have a link to the N&O article about earthlink coming into the area and running over TW’s network? Given that I’m paying non-cable-bundle rates for nc.rr.com, I am so there

this is hilarious:

The North Carolina Tar Heels (1-3, 0-1 ACC) face the North Carolina State Wolfpack (2-0, 0-0ACC) at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh at noon on Saturday.

Someone might wanna drop a note to the N&O: 99.44% of the sports world knows that UNC is actually 1-0 in the ACC. yes, that one victory was against FSU. Duh :)

Course, they’ll soon be 1-4 overall, 1-1 in the ACC, but there’s nothing that can be done about that :)

Even better: later in the article, special teams is listed as “Edge: Slight edge to SMU”. heh

And, of course, the summary table gives the edge to UNC’s opponent in all categories. Unfortunately, it’s listed as Texas. oops.

Ya know, if it’s going to be a triangle publication, it could at least get local stuff right.

There’s a car I’m considering buying that’s down in Fayetteville. I haven’t seen it yet, but it’s $3,000 cheaper than the same thing at a local CarMax (and having looked around, a great price overall). Now, I can tell from the VIN that it was made in America and for the ones I’ve test-driven so far, that has typically made them much more shoddy. What are the chances this would be a proverbial diamond in the rough? Not bloody likely, methinks.

I still maintain that if Comparable, Cloneable, Runnable, Serializable, Externalizable, Adjustable, etc. are going to be interfaces, Throwable just should not be an actual class. hrmph. ParentScrewUp would have done just fine. Honestly!

G105’s having Ronald Curry and Philip Rivers on tomorrow’s morning show. Very nice touch, IMHO, and a good way to hype the upcoming battle. So if we beat them and they beat FSU, are we top 5? ;)

FSU + freshmen quarterbacks = guaranteed ACC loss, BTW
