a query ran for 9 minutes before I figured out I mistyped one part of it (in such a way that it was still valid sql) and ruined the results. Ah, well.

I am now into Book II of The Fellowship Of The Ring. I really liked Book I, and the beginning of Book II at Elrond’s chicken shack is nice so far :)
On a different note, the wedding weekend went extremely well. Jess and I are back home after some horrible traffic in greensboro on i-40 on the way back (as somewhat expected, but not as bad as it ended up being). The wedding was way shorter than we expected (total around 25 minutes, although Jess and I are still the record holders I think) and while the reception was about a half-hour away in Hickory (wedding in Lincolnton), the Gateway Inn that it was held at was quite nice. The reception lacked the open bar that would have made it perfect, but otherwise the fun and dancing was excellent.
Now for dinner and sleep!
Thanksgiving yesterday at my parents’ place was yummy as always. Nice seeing everyone in the typical thanksgiving dozen crowd again. I’ve made it to chapter 6 of the fellowship of the ring now. hopefully natalie’s wedding tomorrow will go ok - should be fun, at least reception and afterwards

the 9th tee bracket showed up at work today, and according to the UPS tracking site, the 2 80GB drives are on a van getting delivered today. (Jill, please bring them inside if you happen to hear them come by! :) That should mean we’ll have all the necessary parts and can do the magic tonight. Now all that’s left to gather is the knife and goats (see #65)
