I have to admit - nothing made sure I thoroughly understood mortgage financing like writing my own mortgage calculator from scratch (confirming output against multiple others). Definitely helped clarify APR which for some reason I had an incorrect understanding of, oddly enough. Fun stuff!

Mad props to for digging up all our old furniture measurements!! It was going to be painful to remeasure everything for and myself - usually one of the things that gets us closest to divorce court :)

um, wow - I should have ran “up2date squid” and been running it for awhile - I really didn’t think caching userpics would have quite that positive of an effect

oh, and either something really weird is hosed, or based on ’s interaction with LJ, free users have crappier access than I expected. Ick.
